Sugar High

Shelby had a lot of the candy decorations that were supposed to go on the gingerbread house.  This is her rendition of Jingle Bells.

Gingerbread Houses

Mom got each of the families a gingerbread house kit for the day after Thanksgiving.  We all had our own space at the table to build and decorate our house.

Some people ate more of the decorations than they put on the house.
The Russells building their house.
They Syversons building their house. Notice who is reading the directions.
The Suhrs building their house (with a lot of help from Kevin and Lincoln).

Thanksgiving

Shelby and Uncle Matt curled up to take a nap.
Lincoln and Gramps hanging out.

Meal time at our house

I love noodles with meat sauce!
Do you have tickets to the gun show?

Bath Time

What is going on here?  Lincoln looks a little frightened that there will be pictures of him in the bath tub.  Wait until he finds out they are on the internet.  This bath time was quickly wrapped up when we spotted some unaccounted for floaties in the water. Yuck!

Loving Lily

Lincoln and Lily love playing with each other?!?

What Did the Other Guy Look Like?

This is how Lincoln's shirt looked when I went in to get him after his afternoon nap one day.  Who know how that happened?  He doesn't seem too upset by it.

Snack Time!

Every day around 3:00 the kids love to have a snack while they stand next to the bench in the kitchen.  We have done that for a while and now Lincoln gets really mad when I try to put him in his high chair for the afternoon snack.  He has become quite a ham when the camera comes out, he is instantly smiling.  Notice he is on his tip toes to reach the snacks.

They Love Each Other?

Shelby and Lincoln together.  Notice Lincoln's black eye courtesy his big sister.  Notice a nice and loving looking Shelby and a Shelby that is gritting her teeth and her head lock around Lincoln got a little tighter, ready to give another black eye.

Fall Fun!

We went to the Louisburg Cider Mill with the Syversons.  Shelby liked the smell of the building where they made the apple cider, you can see her smelling it in one of the pictures.  We enjoyed apple cider (both cold and hot) and apple cider doughnuts and Lincoln and Shelby posed by pumpkins.  I don't think Shelby could have picked a smaller pumpkin to sit on.

Picture Day!

Shelby and Lincoln got some new photos take today. I am not sure what office Lincoln is running for but he is probably a better then our current presidential candidates.

I'm Crawling Now!

Watch out, here I come!  I can crawl around the house now, unless my feet get all tangled up under me, then I do a nose dive.

Ready, Set, Jump!

Shelby loves her little stool.  She will carry it around the house and use it to pet the dog, hug her brother, reach things she shouldn't, and jump off of onto a pillow.

Picture Time!

Daddy's Girl

Daddy and Shelby got to spend a weekend together while Mommy and Lincoln went to Women of Faith in Texas.  They went to Omaha and went to a special garden with Grandma Suhr.

Cracker Dude

Lincoln loves his saltine crackers.  He just wants to eat those, so I sneak some baby food in there when he opens his mouth for a cracker.  Shelby likes to put her sunglasses on him and call him a "Cool Dude".  I think he likes seeing things in all pink.

Lake Weekend

We got to go to Table Rock Lake with our small group on weekend in August.  It was a lot of fun going out on the boat, skiing, eating at a Pizza Hut on the lake, and just enjoying time with friends.  We only took a few photos of Chase and Shelby having fun with explorer hats and the coolers that were in the kitchen.
