Training Babies?

So Hudson is in that "adorable" stage of getting into EVERYTHING! All the time. Kevin does not like this stage at all. Who does really. Hudson will even grab onto the stair railing while you are carrying him so you streeeech to a sudden stop. Lovely. Needless to say Kevin gets frustrated very fast with him. Shelby picked up on the fact that Kevin had "had it" with Hudson and said "Daddy doesn't like to train babies"

Protector...to a Degree

Shelby: Lincoln will you protect me from the bad guys.
Lincoln: Oh yes I will....unless they have a shoot gun. Then Daddy will protect you......or Daddy can get me a shoot gun!

Spanish

I don't know why, but Lincoln and Shelby are insisting that Sign Language is Spanish. Here is a video of Lincoln signing and Shelby deciding to join him by doing Spanish for those who can not hear. Then she starts doing Spanish. Hudson is thrilled because cats are his favorite animal right now so this is his song. Shelby is wearing her new winter coat that Kevin just brought home for her, that's why the tag is still on. This is the "Happy Show" that the kids made signed for all morning and Shelby made tickets for in her room instead of taking a nap, like I asked her too. If you look close you can see the signs are smiley faces with goggly eyes glued to them. Enjoy!

Jumpy!

We love our inflatable jumpy that we can put up in our backyard. It was such a nice Sunday afternoon a few weeks back, we decided to get it out after we went to church. These are the pictures we got on that day. Hudson just kept following Kevin around saying "cheese!". Why don't they always like to get their pictures taken?

Halloween Costumes

This is our Halloween night. Hudson was very crabby so wouldn't get into his Lion costume. Shelby loves the neighborhood cats so that is what is in her hands. Our neighbors had a hay rack ride which was AWESOME!

Family Pics

My brother and sis-in-law were baptized a few Sunday's ago. Their church meets at the movie theaters at the Legends. We took these family pictures afterward at the fountain.

Baseball

McDonald's

Soooo when my kids ask me if they can play in the McDonald's play land, I always say, "No, because there are to many germs in there and you'll get sick" I do think there are germs in there, but I really just don't like the play land because I don't want them to get stuck and I would have to go in after them.
Today when we were driving past McDonald's Shelby told me we don't play there because "There are germs there and that is where sick kids play" About two hours later Lincoln coughed a little bit. He turned to me and said, "I'm a sick kid. I need to go play on that playground"

Bird/Hudson Bath

This boy LOVES water. Once he figured out there was water in the bird bath there was no stopping him!

Funny Things

Shelby: Mom, do you like kids?
Me: Yes
Shelby: When you were married, did they give you kids on the stage thing?

Oh, if only it were that easy child!

Lincoln: More marshmallows!
Me: You need to eat more than marshmallows for a snack, how about some pretzels?
Lincoln: How about I eat marshmallow, pretzel, marshmallow, pretzel, marshmallow, pretzel?

Go for it.

Easter Hunt

Shelby and Lincoln enjoyed the Easter Egg Hunt at Aunt Tammy's and Uncle Matt's house. Hudson slept through lunch and the hunt which was a good present for his mommy and daddy. Lincoln was into the egg hunt after he figured out that the eggs don't hatch, you just hunt for them.

Seriously, He'll let Her Do ANYTHING!

She is literally dragging Hudson across the floor on his bare tummy and he is laughing about it!

The Only Thing.....

Lincoln wants to do is play baseball. From the second he wakes up to the second he goes to sleep. He is sleeping with his glove. He constantly says, "Raise your hand if you want to play baseball with me!" Needless to say Kevin is thrilled that he likes baseball and has another practice with Lincoln out in the front yard after he gets home from his High Schoolers baseball practice.

Soda Machine of the Future

This is a pop dispenser that we saw right outside of Fort Worth on our way to Austin over Spring Break. It can make hundreds of combinations of pop. You select what pop you want and then you can choose diet or regular and then add any kind of flavoring you can think of. Kevin and the kids went back to this machine a million times throughout our lunch....which resulted in us stoping literally every half hour to go to the bathroom the rest of the way to Lori's house. We even had to stop at the gas station about four minutes from their house. Sweet pop machine=LONG van ride.

Couldn't Resist

FroYo

At the end of the day we went to Peach Wave, the self serve frozen yogurt awesomeness! The kids wanted to pose at every big rock they found.
