Arboretum Trains

The boys love going to see the awesome model train set up at the arboretum. This day the "conductor" was letting the boys control it and giving them inside information about the trains. Pretty cool!

ANNNNND Hudson

Hudson was not signed up for anything last spring/summer. So, like a typical last born, he was drug to every practice and game that his big brother and sister was in. He soon adopted the sweet older brothers of Lincoln's teammates as his "team". He would be soooo excited to go to the practices and games because his team would be there. They would play with him and feed him goodies and be so nice to him! Such a great group of boys that we still see and Hudson even invited them all to his 4th birthday party.

Baseball for Lincoln

Lincoln played his second season of baseball and loved it. He has great coaches and a great team to play on!

Baseball for Shelby

Shelby played baseball last summer for rec team. She had three other sweet girls on her team with the rest boys. The girls sure held their own on the team and batted and fielded with the best of them!

Great Wolf Lodge

The kids absolutely LOVE the Great Wolf Lodge. I can not remember when we went, but these were pictures from it. They had a blast and it wasn't very busy so it was a great trip. Hudson loved the hot tub and Shelby and Lincoln went down the big slides with tubes a million times.

Rally Hats

The Varsity team at Blue Valley High made it to state baseball last year. Kevin coaches JV and the pitchers for varsity so we went to the KU ball field to cheer them on! The first game was one of the more exciting games I have watched. They were down by 5 in the bottom of the seventh and I was about to pack up my cheering section and leave.....but then they kept rallying back. We turned our hats inside out and backward and cheered like crazy as they won by one run by the end of the seventh. At one point Shelby turned to me and asked why I never cheered like that for her games. :)

Outside or Bust

The kids are most happy when they are outside doing ANYTHING! Two of their favorite places (maybe because their mom likes that they are free) are the arboretum and the Deanna Rose farmstead. We just hang out, fish, look for bugs, and enjoy the outside.

Just Horsing Around....No Seriously.

My kids cannot be left alone with stickers of any kind. They will attach them to floors, refrigerators, pets, couches, countertops, table, and apparently....themselves. I guess it is a team building activity....one thing they can do together without fighting. They also love horses! They got to go to the spring round up at New Horizon Ranch LAST year in April. Yes a FULL year ago and I am just now posting. (I had a good friend lovingly remind me to GET NEW PICTURES UP ON THE BLOG). So here we are about a year ago. The ranch is having another spring round up April 26th. It is a fun time with lots of carnival type games and prizes and inflatables and food and horses and FUN!!!
