Hudson Dale Suhr

We had a baby, it's a boy! We finally had Hudson on Friday, March 19th at 9:53 at night. It was a rough go at it and ended in a c-section and a healthy baby boy. 8 pounds 13 ounces and 21 inches long. We are all at home now and doing fine. Here are my favorite quotes from Shelby so far:

"I don't want Lincoln anymore, he's used. I just want my new brother."
and
"We need to get some food for baby Hudson so he doesn't eat from you anymore"

It's only going to get better from here!

Cooking

Shelby was decorating Christmas cookies with Grams. As you can see she was eating more than frosting. Lincoln figured out when he should be a part of this process.

Almost Baby Time

So, if I knew how to put one of those polls on the page, I would put one up with when you all think I'll have this baby. But that is one of the things I can't figure out how to do. So, I am due the 28th of March and am hoping I have him next week while Kevin is on Spring Break.
The doctor has said he can come anytime so I have packed my bags and gotten people lined up to come over to watch Shelby and Lincoln when I go in. Shelby is super excited to be a big sister again. Although this morning she said she didn't want Lincoln as a brother anymore, just baby Hudson. Lincoln does know how to push her buttons :)
I have had two awesome surprise showers thrown for the baby. One from the ladies in the aerobics class I teach at church and one from the ladies on our small group. I have two diaper cakes now, one with size newborn diapers and a "Disney Cars" theme, because we are naming the baby Hudson. And one with size 1-2 diapers with a Hawkeye theme. Once I get my pictures uploaded, I'll put those on. Very fun to have surprise showers. Kevin and I have one at his school Thursday and it is an alphabet theme. Fun, fun! Can't wait to meet this little guy!

Russell Christmas

I know, I know

It has been a long time since I have posted anything. For two reasons....one I don't have the pictures I want to post, they are on Kevin's phone, and two, I can't get my page to look like I want. All these other people who use blogspot have these fancy headings and customized things on their page. I try to do it and it doesn't work. So I either just need to get over it and have a generic looking one or ask one of them to teach me how to do it.

More Suhr Time

Some more fun times at Grandma and Grandpa's with the cousins.  My favorite picture is the one of Lincoln trying to hold all five cars he got for a present at once.  I'm surprised he can't do it more easily with as big a hands as he has.  :)

Christmas Trip

Here are some pictures from our trip to Walnut for the Suhr Christmas.  The kids had fun with Grandma and Grandpa and having hot chocolate after playing in the snow.  Shelby liked playing Webkinzjr with her cousin Chloe.

Random Pictures

Here are some random pictures of the kids.  Lincoln's happy spot lately has been underneath the laundry basket.  Shelby encourages this and makes sure he stays in, which he does happily.  Our friend Andrea took the two good pictures of Lincoln, we think she should be a professional photographer because her pictures always turn out so good.  The next one is of Shelby and Lincoln "helping" me cook and the last two are of them at Aunt Tammy's at her kitchen counter probably eating.
